We see a possible IPO from Google and a major cut back from the Clown.
If Google goes even semi-public I predict:
1) Those with equity and options will make a killing.
2) Google will die slowly.
3) Webmasters will move to the next big thing.
If I was as lucky and clever as the FSU/USA founders I would sell out now and start again or at least engage some very honest big corporate players to fight my corner on a % basis.
Why:
A) The corporate market will kill the basis Google became big and in turn this will slowly kill Google.
B) The mix of the 1st grade FSU/USA mentality that made Google is pretty Unique.
Will it be the same way for the Arch Froogle Deluxe. A shopping engine for grown up taste.
They both let staff work without washing their hands.
Both are great places for single young men to hang out.
They both could team up and create a brand called McDoogle.

I stopped eating MacDonalds about three years ago, and won't go near the place now. You can get an excellent pub lunch for about £2 more, and have 5 times as much food. Assuming you've got time...
McDonalds business ownership model is franchise
Google is far more centralised but are starting to lease out their products to other businesses.
Both allow small changes for diff cultures in their distributed models, but both practice strong brand guardianship.
Both knew their market and the customer, especially at the launch of their enterprises, targeting an obvious need that others were too scared to target.
Both have autogenerated responses for the mass consumer to common questions
Both have cute things for the kiddies
Both target those who dont have money, but have curious skills at influencing those who do.
Both pride themselves on fast service
When you consume Google you dont get sick and guilt ridden afterwards.
When you consume Google, you dont need to sneak in really quick and look over your shoulder should anyone see that you are there.
