I've done this for a meeting, phoned the guy I was meeting (wondering where he was) from the restaurant and he was surprised to hear from me, he was in a different part of the country and the meeting wasn't until the next day... Now I always, always, always reconfirm the day before.

I called the prosecutor's office on Monday. Was told he won't be in until Thursday (today). I told her "no problem, I'll just see him in court on Thursday." She said OK.

You'd think that between my secretary and his secretary, somebody would get it right. That's what we pay them big bucks for.

At least I wasn't late for court, but 21 days early? :)
