My father taught me to hang in there, never quit. And, quite frankly Dad, while it probably is the reason I'm as happy and successful as I am, I have learned (the hard way) that one can take that advice too far.

My father passed away more than thirty years ago but I do have my own kids and grandchildren. I was disappointed yesterday when I only got two gifts ... then I remembered I only had two kids. :)
