Two kinds of kugel (pudding):
Potato kugel is a "potato pancake" (latke) casserole made with grated potatoes, onion and matzoh meal.
Luckshen kugel (pudding) is a noodle casserole made with noodles, cottage cheese, sugar and cinnamon.
