Couldnt get a flight home to be with the family, so I had my first Xmas away from home.. :(
But the folks im staying with are nice (nice meal on Xmas eve), and got a few gifts sent over from family n got to chat to them on the phone.
All in all it was quiet, but OK - would have prefered to be home tho! :)

They have nice ones at Eddie Bauer
Think I'll just head back to Austin where it's warmer!
But I would pay good money to see photos of you shearing a yak.

I finally got into my new apartment! Running (hot and cold) water, working toilet ... the whole works! No washer dryer or stove yet ... but hey, its a huge improvement over the container on the beach!
My sweetie and his daughter also arrived Christmas Day ... I'm a happy, happy girl! :)

Congrats Liane... :) Is the running water all you hoped it would be?
re: Yaks... from the looks of it, I don't think the local yaks ever get sheared. Somehow, I don't think I want to be the first one to try it. ;)

Its one of life's true pleasures which most of us take for granted. I don't!
Ahhhhhhh ... there's nothing like a fresh water shower. Sure beats the salt water baths I've been taking! :)

Given where you're taking those saltwater baths, I might be willing to trade in my freswater showers. :)

>Did you get what you wanted for Christmas?
No! Still a PR6, but the new links are definitely mounting up ...maybe by Valentine's Day.

hmm... I didn't want anything in particular, so everything was icing on my cake. I guess you could say I got more than I wanted, needed, or expected.
