For the first time.

I just noticed this in email from Feedblitz, a blog post notification service. Above the From line I am seeing one or two rows of the tags used in the blog posts referenced inside the email. I checked older emails and they all show these tags.

Has anyone else noticed them? I haven't consciously added any Outlook plugins.

(Am not talking about Smart Tags)

I checked the headers more carefully and noticed an extra line called Keywords: which contains those tags.

I also noticed the same thing happening in the Message Options dialog, where a Categories drop-down appears. One of the options is "Clear all Categories" in the drop-down, and clicking it causes the words to be erased permanently, even after choosing not to save changes.

I remember seeing somewhere that Categories in Microsoft Word become Keywords in Outlook but can't find it again. My working hypothesis is that Feedblitz has added this extra tag.

Perhaps I found an Easter egg? :)
