HarpoScript: a new "life affirming" JavaScript library

Into the fray with Mootools, Dojo and JQuery, comes the newest contender, this one from a most unlikely source.

Oprah Winfrey, TV personality, publisher, and actress, has released a Javascript library she calls "HarpoScript", named after her publishing company "Harpo" (which is Oprah backwards). HarpoScript uses an unusual syntax that "embraces life and all its wonder" says the celebrity, who until today has kept her love of JavaScript programming secret from the public.

HarpoScript was created in collaboration with not-quite-as-famous JavaScript programmer from Utica NY, 24 year old Jason Lembke.

Do you have another link to more info? That link you posted goes to a youtube vid called RickRoll'd that does not appear to have anything to do with it. All my searches on google and yahoo have turned up nothing.

I just got a reply back from Jason Lembke, he said it's true and HarpoScript is what conficker.c runs on. The download site for it is not yet ready, due to it being conficke.d up at the moment. Oprah's people have no comment as of yet.

Here in the UK, at 11 pm April 1st (i.e. almost at the end of the day), the local radio station here has repeated 'as if it were true' a joke story first aired in a newspaper in Brazil on their April 1st morning.

Maybe this is where urban legends are born?

Llihp Rotcod DOM Library is way much slicker than that, there is no fun in VT/SB statements if they are not bold by nature. All though I think its a ripp-off to pay for it in the first place.
