Andrew Krogh, 47, who owns AA Glass and Mirror, was arrested early Tuesday morning with a slingshot and ball bearings in his possession.
The building's landlord, Brian Seeley, said he had spent at least $12,000 since last fall to repair more than a dozen broken windows. He said Krogh approached him late last year after the first incident.At the time, Seeley said he could think of no explanation for the seemingly senseless vandalism. We have a bit of a sickness going around our rural area. It's one that has been made to look like "cool fun" by various movies . . . mailbox baseball.
Unfortunately most of the victims are retired and on fixed incomes, this is a big deal for them.
But more and more iron mailboxes that can take the force of a Sherman tank are appearing . . . hmmm . . .
Moral is to use a competitor of any glass company who shows up offering to fix your shot out window. Won't happen again.

They bashed mailboxes going INTO a cul du sac neighborhood and were nabbed coming out. A couple of them were wearing their letter jackets. Off the team. Out of the school. And at least one Division One baseball scholarship was canceled.
