Lux Interior [nytimes.com] passed away at the age of 62. Although not as well known as many lesser acts, the Cramps were an immensely important rock and roll band whose influence will continue to spread. Rest in pieces.

I recall the Cramps, as a weird student I knew was into them while I was school. Surprised he was so old though

I remember a girl I liked in University who frequently wore a Cramps t-shirt. So one day I listened to the band and was only mildly impressed with the music. But I do agree they had a huge influence on their genre.

RIP
