No, seriously, I don't want your username or password.

It's all too easy to fall for the username and login requests of tools and add-ons. They are not all phishing attempts, of course, but, as a timely reminder, beware. Don't get swept up in the excitment and end up being the victim of a phishing scam.

I take it spammers like to hijack Twitter (and other) accounts for the purpose of linking to their sites? Short of that, I can't figure out why they'd want to access accounts at free sites that never see banking information.

I almost did this with Mint. Then I realized I was giving them, and anyone who might hack them, full access to my bank accounts. Yikes! No thanks. I'll manage my own budget. :)
