Back in the days when the Kleiz virus was rampant, email addresses were hijacked and used by spam artists.

We never send spam. Our email is used to send an online confirmation of an order placed.

Im getting more and more rejected email, say they have been blocked by the user Is it possible that my email address was reported as spam in error, who maintains the blacklist, and how do I get off the blacklist.

There are quote a few of these and from memory some sites give advice on how to appeal. Just do a search for "DNS blacklists email addresses" in your fave SE.

It's possible... but it's more likely that your emails are being caught by an ISP level filtering solution such as SpamAssassin or a user level solution such as MailWasher.

Some filters (SpamAssassin in particular) are so aggressive that just about any commercial email, even those specifically requested, will be bounced.
