Looks like black hat techniques are landing people in court.

Three men defrauded eBay in a "cookie stuffing" scheme that made it appear the men's companies should be paid commissions, eBay claims in Federal Court. It sued Shawn Hogan and Digital Point Solutions, Todd Dunning and Kessler's Flying Circus, and Brian Dunning and Thunderwood Holdings.

Here's a copy of the actual lawsuit in PDF form:

I would never do anything like that myself but on some level I admire guys who find these little holes in the system and get in them.

I understand what they are doing hurts us all and I am against this type of crap and I have to fight it off myself but....

The time it would take to figure all that out and implement is crazy... imagine if they played within the rules what they could do.

They didn't make an original discovery. That kind of stuff has been going on for years and years and years. This is the reason I stopped using CJ awhile ago after seeing affiliate sales drop by a signficant percent year over year, despite sending thousands of referrals. Switched to another company after that incident and never looked back.

Same here, I used to make good money on CJ and one day it just dried up so I dumped all their ads a couple of years back and switched to other stuff that's still paying.
