Interesting article about the U.S. Air Guitar Competition [sfgate.com]. Uhm, not sure what to think.

They're STILL doing that?!? I remember when it was a fad. Wasn't it a fad? They had some competition in L.A. (not sure if it was local or nationwide level) and the winner got to "open" for Triumph's L.A. concert.

Yeah, that should date this, and me! That would've been at least 22 years ago...

Wow, what a juxtaposition. The voice-over sounded like it should be part of a "Nova" documentary.

The air guitar stuff I play is so complicated and requires so much concentration that I can't somersault, do the air splits, or throw the air guitar up in the air and catch it. I can only stand in one place and shred.

When that gets old, I plug my American Strat into my half-stack and turn it up to eleven. :)

I've somehow become a member of a band... they were desperate. The Air Guitar is an instrument I might be good with. If I could play it with gas I'd be a sensation!
