Anybody here from Venezuela or other South American country with a unique gift suggestion? Anything you wish you had from the U.S.?
They are flying out so it has to be something small. My default idea is some Venezuela or South American tourist books or books on learning Spanish. But any unique ideas from a native would be appreciated.

I've moved country a couple of times, although not to South America. My suggestion is, keep away from gifts that are an attempt to "help them out" in their new home. Instead, aim for sentimental stuff that they will remember you by and that will remind them of home. Photos and music spring to mind.
