Just in case Martha Stewart hasn't gotten enough bad press, now she seems to have launched a spam campaign to promote her magazine, Martha Stewart Living. (Not to mention the opportunity for a free cookie decorating kit if I subscribe right now!)

The mailing has the usual disclaimer, "We're sending you this garbage because you asked us to" (slight paraphrase :)). I've racked my brain, but just can't recall telling Martha to spam me. Could be it's HER memory that's at fault - she seemed a bit hazy on the details of why she dumped her Imclone stock just before they went public with their bad FDA news... I could live with insider trading, but spamming? Can't wait for the next show, "First we're going to make a festive holiday wreath from excess cat hair, then I'll show you how to set up a bulk e-mailer so you can contact a million of your closest friends for no cost at all!"

Hmmm, I didn't check to see if the "cookie decorating kit" in this HTML e-mail also set a cookie on my PC... :)

got that spam too.i dont understand -she is probably so rich that she and her family can spend he rest of their lives ejoying! some people are just greedy!

She is AWESOME on Late Night With "Conan O'Brien". I love watching what seems like this militant female Micheal Jackson Devour a Wendy's Double Bacon Cheeseburger and chase it down with a shot of Jack Daniels... classic television. :)
