I learned some interesting things about the iPhone yesterday:

Dropping the iPhone into the bathtub will cause it to stop working.

Hosing the iPhone three weeks before the new version comes out leaves you in phone limbo.

You can actually have withdrawal symptoms if you discontinue use abruptly.

this sometimes works with previously submerged phones.
remove the battery and let the phone dry in the sun for a few hours.

There should be a group of recovered IPhone and IPod users in your area; they can help you through the withdrawal period. If you can't locate a group try some of these helpful hints: Drink plenty of orange juice every day, chew gum, watch as much Oprah and Judge Judy as you can stand, and above all avoid public places where users of these devices are known to congregate.

Good Luck

Phranque, that'd be great if I could remove the battery! Unfortunately, Apple made it really hard to do that. Plus, it's only half of the touch-screen that is gronked, so I'm pretty sure it's a non-fixable issue.
