A weedy sea dragon at the Georgia Aquarium has something to celebrate this Father's Day. One of the rare creatures is pregnant for only the third time ever at a U.S. aquarium, aquarium officials said. But don't look for the expectant mom — dads carry the eggs in this family.

It's got me pondering what maternity clothing and new Daddy ecom sites would be like if humanoid males were the ones who carrried and gave birth to the babies.

If that were the case it would be the human race that was endangered. :P
"He" is a pre-op transexual i.e. a woman who is going to have reconstructive surgery to become a man (how do they do that? man to woman is easy but adding is more difficult than taking away). "He" still has all the woman's undercarriage and is therefore fully equipped for pregnacy. IMHO this pregnant man is just a pregnant bearded lady. I don't understand why the media made so much fuss about it.

Ponder all you want! There are only two exit areas in that general vicinity and neither of them are capable of what you are pondering, nope, not gonna' happen anytime soon! :)
That would surely give new meaning to the phrase...
