And as far as I'm concerned, it's about time. I was getting sick of the licensing. I pay 99 cents per song on Napster, I should be able to do with it what I wish.

Seems that Napster has finally come around.

Looks good. It's about time they realised once you've paid for music you should be able to copy it anywhere you like. And you don't need a subscription, just like I don't need a subscription to go to my local record shop.

I always copy my CD's for the car, plus ripping to my PC, laptop and MP3, so this will be a definate plus for me.

I don't use napster but the DRM wouldn't be up to them, they'd need a deal with the RIAA and/or the copyright owners to sign off on it. I wonder how many titles are non-DRM and by what artists?
