This tunnel in Russia is the longest in-city tunnel of Europe. There is a river running over it and water leaks at various points. When the temperature reaches minus 38 degrees f like it did this particular winter day, the road freezes and the result is the attached. Video taken during A SINGLE DAY with the tunnel camera.
Ouch!
It seems that a lot of the accidents were caused by reckless driving (swerving in & out of lanes quickly), trying to pass where there wasn't room, etc.
