Can a judge force one to give part of their property to a neighbor?

I believe so. Wasn't there something about that in the news fairly recently? The neighbor had used the individuals property more than the individual had themself and went to court to take control of it. I'm pretty sure they won too, at least initially. I could be wrong. My memory really sucks these days.

The concept is "adverse possession". Contact a real estate attorney in your area.
