Blank keys

I've grown quite fond of my wireless keyboard but after a couple of years' use many of the keys are missing the letters now. I'm not the world's greatest typist so I'd like to get them back.

I thought of using white correcting fluid but that's not going to last long either so anyone have any ideas of the best substance to paint the letters back on to the keys?

In the back of my mind I thought there'd been a similar question posed here some while back. Here it is:

Is there a paint I can use on a keyboard? [webmasterworld.com]

I'm happy to learn that my memory is not as bad as I sometimes fear! Now, what was I doing a moment ago..?

I have used letters painted on my keyboard fixated with clear nail varnish and stickers. The stickers were damaged after a few months, the nail varnish is still in it's original state after several years.

I'd just like to find a keyboard that has copy and paste buttons. doing control/C control/V is a real pain the azz.

I will second the copy and paste buttons request. Any keyboard manufactures listening?

Got any keys on your current keyboard that you don't use? You can define them as any key-codes you like.

I've used this technique to turn my caps-lock key into a regular shift key, as I often hit it accidentally, and it annoys me to look over from the text source I'm typing and find several lines of all-caps. You could use it to map unused keys to "control-C" and "control-V" and make your own copy-n-paste keys.

I don't know if it was just a one-off joke (maybe for an April Fool's Day?), but I seem to remember someone making a keyboard that had a big red PANIC button on it.

When I bought my last DVD recorder, the remote had a key on which was written-- ANYKEY.
