Well, internet TV just took a huge step forward, it would appear. I guess. Of course, you can get movies from iTunes. But, not for free. Hulu has free stuff. Lots. Hmmm.

Would not like to own a TV station right now. But, I would like to have some video skills.

I'm working on a straightforward web project right now and we had a meeting today and it soon was clear to everyone that we needed a video intro on how the site is used. Music, voice-over, dancing bears, etc. Thing is, no one at the meeting has even done a video.

Hmm, all I get is...

Unfortunately this video is not available in your country or region...

This is USA only?

Yeah, it's USA only right now.

NYT has a story on video jamming up the web today. This tells much of the story, however:

let's see, so far we have NBC Universal and Fox, Sony Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Warner Brothers Television Group and Lionsgate, N.B.A. and N.H.L., and N.C.A.A. men’s basketball. oh, and several dozen additional media companies.
i sure don't see any media consolidation issues there....
