Story [online.wsj.com]

But in a bizarre twist, the government's efforts to block the clip in Pakistan wound up affecting YouTube users around the world. YouTube spokesman Ricardo Reyes confirmed in an email that YouTube traffic was disrupted world-wide for several hours Sunday.

Aside from the political issues involved in this, the fact that something like this can be done should send shivers down of anyone running a major website.

This sounds great! Can we have "Watch YouTube and go Rioting" parties here too, before our own respective governments step in to switch off YouTube and save us from ourselves?
