Cannot Install Flash Player

FlashPlayer will not Install on My Computer

I have a 2 year old HP running XP Media Edition with SP2. I have a 2.3 gig processor, 1 gig of RAM, and over 200 gig of open space on my hard drive. I use McAfee security suite version 7 and also separate anti-spyware. With or without the firewall on and other protection, pop-up blocker off, etc. it won't successfully download and install. I've also downloaded it to my PC and tried installing it from there with no success. Any solutions? I see on the Adobe site that many people have similar problems.

Right here on my monitor it says "Award-winning 24x7 service and support" so even if you aren't under their extended plan, you might want to contact HP support by either phone or email and see if they have any suggestions, since it's the manufacturer who has to support OEM software (like Windows).

Check:

1. If it is IE - check security settings (Tools / Options)
2. If you have a login to Windows - check you have admin permissions
3. If using VM ware - install on the VM Ware first
