I should know better than to ask this question by now, but I've got to ask

Don't the spiders traverse the websites the same as if you were to use a Lynx browser? If not, then would someone please advise on exactly how a spider sees the websites again?

Bots/spiders only read text. So anything else such as images, flash, javascript, java etc cant be read.

I haven't used a Lynx browser, is it possible on windows xp?

Does that answer your question?

:)

Yeah, that about sums it up. I must be thinking with the flat side of my brain instead of the wrinkly side today. Thanks a lot. ;)
