First I have NEVER met a (male) geek who talks about women, he talks abouts BLONDES. My theory is that he has little time for the subject and goes to the cliche for safety.

Blondes can be pretty. An average woman as a blonde may be a tad more attractive to many men, I might guess. But, from my experience, a beautiful woman with dark hair can have her way in most any situation.

KF, it made sense anyway.

Geeks, with our legendary nonexistent young love lives, might as well have pined for the best of what we couldn't have anyway.

Nowadays, I have long blond Scandinavian hair myself. It doesn't make me look very geek-like anymore; EVERYONE loves blondes! How much? Even a lot of the Mexican and African people in the neighborhood are sporting hair that is more blonde than mine! What is up with thaaaaat? (lol)

I think you have to carry either a gene for BEING blonde (even if it is recessive) or for ADORING blondes - it's not only Greeks and Mexicans, but also Italians, Spaniards, and so on - all over the World where natural blondes are rare and precious.

---why Blondes?---

The cold dark nights gazing at the monitor, consumed by the code, forgetting to use the socks, cold feet...

Blond is a warm color maybe?

If that's true, it might explain why, as a blond, I never really got what was supposed to be so different about blondes. In general I like brunettes and blondes and flame-haired beauties equally.

When I was young, I was a towhead. As I aged it got darker. Now it's getting lighter again. I must be getting younger.
