I have to say, I pay pretty close attention to my post count - and I noticed that while my actual posts were deleted, my post count still gave me un-earned credit for all four of those no-longer-existent posts. Crazy though it might seem, this bothered me.
Turns out there was no way to adjust my count downwards - but Brett and jatar_k jokingly (I think) suggested that I post here in Foo, where the posts are not counted, to even things out.
Bingo! So here I am posting in Foo, maybe for the first time ever. I can't remember for sure.
Nice place.
Anyway, this whole series of events made me realize that I am always aware (within one or two) of what my WebmasterWorld post count is. Does this make me obsessed? Or, does this make me normal?
Is anyone else so proud of posting on WebmasterWorld that they always know how many times they've done so? And (here's the telling question) do you every mention that number to your colleagues?
I'm betting yes - but I'll be interested to see. Am I alone in my obsession, or do others feel the same way?
