After the insanity by McDonalds at Gatwick in London last month (issuing £125 penalty fines to customers who stay in their car park longer than 3/4 hour), there is a new madness. The British supermarket Tesco has sent a threatening letter to a disabled eighty year old shopper and his wife for spending four hours buying goods, and warning of a £100 if they repeat the "offence". The couple spent £300 ($600) on their Christmas shopping -clearly business the supermarket does not want.
Small wonder that online shopping is booming......
