"Heather Mills says rich are ‘snobby’ and ‘stingy’"
DUBLIN, Ireland - Heather Mills McCartney, who is reportedly seeking millions of dollars in her breakup with Paul McCartney, denounced the world’s rich as misers and snobs Wednesday.

..."Paul McCartney’s personal wealth is estimated at $1.6 billion. British press reports have speculated that McCartney has offered his wife around $50 million, while she is seeking at least double that amount. "

They were married for 4 years and reportedly Paul offered her $50 mil or $34,000 a night, and that includes even the nights she drove him nuts. Stingy my @ss.

She thinks she deserves $64,000 a night + child support which will probably be a cool $1+ million a year. (Withholding leg jokes but...)

I always think about that million dollar benchmark, (never mind multi-million)...

If I had $1M, I'd put it in the bank and hope to get 6% interest. That would give me $60k per year without touching the principal... meaning I could withdraw $164.38 a day -- every day and blow it on whatever I wanted, for the rest of my life. Not exactly lifestyles of the rich and famous, but $1150.68 a week is nothing to sneeze at either.

So, for Heather, we multiply it by Paul's $50M offer... that's $8200 a day, or $57.5k a week to blow -- AND NEVER TOUCH THE PRINCIPAL.

And now the leg jokes:

Q: What do you call a woman with one leg longer than the other?

A: Eileen

==========================================

Q: What do you call a cow with no legs?

A: Ground beef.

As regards her claim; I don't think she has a leg to stand on.

Oh boy: not sure if I can link but the NewsOfTheWorld has a picture from her pron past. Ouch. He had a daughter with her, will have to give her plenty of money and now papers are calling her a pron queen:
"Heather, 39, cried crocodile tears and said: "They eliminate the whole 20 years of my life of campaigning and put in things like ‘hardcore porn queen'." She dismissed her top shelf career as "glamour modelling".

Typically, investment professionals suggest you would be wise to count on 4 to 4.5 percent, not 6. Makes a difference.
