I feel you, it's only 800 miles and we're too busy "pushin' a rock." I want to be there, I need to be there, but life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

I think for me and Habtom the airfare is a killer - I'm going to Vegas for a different conference in february and the airfare is high triple digits, and that's only to get to NY.

So if the conferences were closer I would try - or maybe next year go to pubcon instead.. whoever goes, have a beer for me ya?

I'm in the near miss club as well. I was planning to go, but the volume of work here got the better of me.

Another miss here, too. I've never made Vegas because I always had another obligation during that November time frame. This year that was pushed back to December and I was looking forward to doing Vegas. What does Brett go and do? He moves the PubCon dates to the same week I have to be somewhere else. Sheesh! ;-)

Wanted to be there as well-but December is the busiest month of the year for me-and most other retailers. Just can't get away. :-(

I attended the 2006 pubcon Boston, unable to make it in 2007. Hopefully I will be able to attend in 2008.
