How polite is healthy politeness?

How do you know you haven't been a bit too polite?

You mean when you say things like, "Excuse me please, why don't you kiss my @ss? Thank you very much." ;)

You know you're too polite when you're getting out of the lift and you let the other person go first with a had gesture and a "you first", they do the same and you're still both standing there when the doors close. :)

I read some where that one of the politest places around are our prisons!

Think about it, your in close quarters and in confinement,. If you tick someone off you cant move to Utah to get away from him. So therefore if you
bump some one you are quick to say excuse me, I beg your pardon etc, etc

If not, your going to be very uneasy going out in the yard by yourself.

So the next time you are incarcerated, remember to mind your manners!...KF

It might be a sign of weakness; but I'm afraid you can say goodbye to my business if you fail to be polite. Manners Maketh Man.

going out in the yard by yourself

Or the shower!

vincevincevince is right though, you can't run a business without being polite. However, if you're really good at being polite you can actaully give someone a really good ticking off without them talking back to you!
