I like most people here don't think i make enough $$.

I work as a full time in-house webmaster/designer/SEO (I increased our google organinc visits by 222% this month isn't that cool... still kinda on cloud 9 with that one)

Anyway is there any resources to see what the going pay rate is for people like me?

A webdesigner's "standard" salary should be pretty easy to find. You can usually include the "webmaster" role as well. Now, add in the SEO part and that's where you are probably getting lost. It's tough to say. A good SEO is most likely self-sufficient which means that they could freelance for their SEO money and from there the sky is the limit for income. When I was considering heading back to the corporate world a couple months ago I wouldn't take any less than $100k with potential for much, much more through incentive pay. I was offered a position in CA a few years ago for $240k which converted to around $130k in cost of living for where I am now. Just wasn't enough to get me to move half way across the country and away from my family. I'm not trying to brag, but showing you that if you have proven results, you can get paid for it. I'm sure there are SEOs out there that make a lot more than me.

Since you can prove the impact you've had on business maybe it's time to renegotiate your pay. Be careful though because this can burn relationships sometimes. I'd recommend implementation of some kind of incentive based on continued increases in traffic. Show your past record and negotiate based on future potential. You can't say that since you've increased your traffic 222% that you want a 222% raise... that just won't work :) Businesspeople like compensation packages that will benefit both you and the company. The more the company makes, the more you make.

I posted a thread on this topic a few years ago and learned a lot from it. You can find it here: [webmasterworld.com...]
