Anyone used one of these pre pay credit cards. Seems much safer for internet shopping.

Im in the UK and want one with a feature so that I can transfer money directly from my bank account.

Yeah I did think aboutthat to, I do a bit of bookmaking on the betting exchanges and would like to be able to use on there, keeping money seperate you see.

However I have since found outthat the Mastercard versions have restrictions of use on them so beware.

I can tell you that there are several UK-based cards, since I used to be CTO of one and still own some shares!

I can't drop URLs here, of course, but a bit of Googling should find you a variety of UK-based VISA and MC prepaid card companies/brands.

Gambling restrictions may be in place on some of them because of the on-going US UIGEA/WTO problems, but for most other purposes they should work.
