It's tonight! Who's going to win?

I am surprised there is not a thread on this or perhaps I missed it.

Who is going to win it? I would love to read some stats on the amount of alchohol that will be drunk tonight no matter who wins - must be staggering (pardon the pun).

Who is your money (or heart) with?

England will win with a last min drop goal!

There were some stats floating around about how much the supermarkets had sold leading up to the game and how the top restaurants in London had more calls than usual asking if there were any cancellations! Can't find it at the moment though, will post if it turns up.

Yes I had also heard that Flat Screen TV's (LCD's and such) were up 35% or something.

Should be a great game if last night's was anything to go by.

But why are you so confident England will win. Did SA not thrash England earlier?

The bookies have England at 9/4 and SA at 2/5. Draw your own conclusions. ;)

The Bookies?! They had England at 16-1 to win against Australia and 100-1 to win the WC (the latter a month ago). Draw your own conclusions. ;-)

It seems not many people who posted in this thread are not happy today, South Africa did it again :)

What a dreary, dismal display.

Lets be bitter! That try should have stood and the penalty was a joke that killed the game. Oh well, a few weeks ago I didn't see us getting to the final!

Through out the tournament, SA have looked the winning team. I wasn't even watching England's game until I heard they beat Tonga!

England was denied a try.....the psychological game would have been different.....but who knows. We could say it was because the linesman was an Aussie!....and who knows who the TV refs were.... There were also a number of penalties that England should have got. Perhaps they had placed bets on SA winning.....speculation speculation.

At this point in time congrats to SA but I think the boys did England proud. From a team that no one rated and came back from the dead......and they fought all the way until the end.

They played far better as a team compared to our over paid England football team. Was disappointed to see Rooney playing against Russia....should have been Hesky.

More important than the loss in Rugby was the failure of Lewis Hamilton to win the F1 crown in his first year (I will not use the awful word "rookie").

Not such a good week for British sport, on balance maybe we should concentrate on Darts, Snooker and perhaps Dwarf Throwing.

Well Scotland did OK. All we have to do is beat World champions Italy next month to Qualify for Euro 2008. Dead easy, eh? ;)

I see that Google still has ...

"Go England! Get Rugby World Cup information on iGoogle" on its UK home page. Can someone please tell them it's all over?

They haven't crawled the info yet, I guess.

Paula Radcliff will be running the New York marathon....perhaps...
New yorkers beware - if she stops near you and goes into crouching mode move away quickly before your shoes get ruined.
