I got Led Zeppelin Tickets
[webmasterworld.com...]

Pffft! Zeppelin ain't got jack on Hannah Montana...

Brokers snatch joy from Hannah Montana fans
[cnn.com...]

My 7 year old daughter wanted to go. So I went online to research ticket prices, this was a little while back. Yikes! If I was going to get tickets for my daughter, I'd want front row or backstage passes. :) You'd be lucky to get front row at Hannah Montana for less than $2,000.00 USD. Can you imagine that?

The minimum bid for a single front-row seat at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was $2,605

"Sorry honey, you'll have to watch this one on Disney".

Well, parents are up in arms about it. The media have now gotten a hold of it and having a bit of fun.

I think Zeppelin had somthing like 5 million request tickets for 1 show.

Does not really compare.

But I understand your point.

If people stopped buying tickets from ticket scalpers, a lot of this nonsense would stop. Unfortunately, it ain't gonna happen...

And I admit to being to blame as well- back in the day I went to a broker for (classic) Van Halen tickets. I paid $39.50 for the last row on the floor.

I've heard of Led Zeppelin but what is Hannah Montana? Is it a group or a person? Probably well known in the US but nowhere else I imagine.

...abandon physical tickets and gain access via checking credit card (same as used to purchase) or government-issued ID (passport, driving license) against your name on the list...

Its a Disney show for kids and early teens. You are not missing anything.

That would not be very efficient for a large venue. It would take longer to get in than the actual concert would last.
