Forum Moderators: open
What a treasure trove of great information! While some of the problems of the past are no longer with us a lot of the information is as valid today as it
was years back. It struck me as knowledgeable, helpful and in most cases very learned. Some one should edit them and put them in a book!
I saw a lot of names that I recognize but far more that I have never seen before.
The question occurred to me of what happened to these posters of the past?
Have they moved on to other forums? Grew tired of the process? Quit the business? Retired? Died?(hope not)
I would like to hear from all the posters who have been around the forum for
awhile to give us their opinion to what happen to these great posters of the past...KF
PUBCON 1 = DEFCON 1
Very few survived the attack except the English who had many years of very hard training in pub warfare.
I did see a few old names at one or two of the other pubcons but they looked a bit too shocked by the first mission to be of any use to the internet world. They were on a day out with their carers I think.
Ska
A few did. One is now back in an old job of accouting.
> Have they moved on to other forums?
A group tried doing a ultra private seo forum. They quit that when they found out one of the admins worked for a search engine.
> Retired?
Old webmasters never retire - they just move to webmastering nonprofit sites.
> Died?(hope not)
Yes one did. rip.
