It's Thanksgiving up here in Canada today ('bout a month prior to the American holiday). Time to get together with friends and family, feast on turkey and pumpkin pie (and maybe have a beerski). Also time to be thankful for all that we have. In keeping with that, a big thanks to all my friends around here, and all the folks who've helped me so much in the past year!
I read recently that the first North American thanksgiving was actually about 50 years prior to the American pilgrims and was celebrated by Frobisher in the Canadian arctic. I'm guessing they weren't being thankful for all the turkey and pumpkin pie they had :).
