Completly unaware of anything really deep and meaning full relating PC's.
He'll even argue the toss when you can prove x is x from written reports and experience.
His main job is to install (!) microsoft software and update various versions of standard software this makes him an expert on all facets of computer technology, he'll rarely if ever admit to being wrong.
Now my main point, he has no qualifications, in anything at all (dropped his Microsoft certification - to busy to complete! - thats after he comes the rest of the department for answers) but that doesnt stop him ranting on and on about how you dont need a degree to get on in a job, he'll slate anyone, fast track grads are a fav target, that has one, or anything more than GCSE/O level in woodwork.
Then this week, the firm offered to send him on a computer science degree course, all paid for.
Suddenly anyone without a degree is a good for nothing layabout without a future.
Give me strength.
The worlds most annoying technical support guy
Do you know one?
Do I know one, are you kidding? The last time I talked to a telecom technical support guy, he asked me not to call more than twice a day. His last words, "Sir, you already called us twice, what do you want now?" The only thing he didn't know was the reason I called for the third time was because the other calls were disconnected before I even reached any of them.
