Hi there,
I'm opening a restaurant in Thailand and am wondering if there is any kind of open source software out there?
Something that lets the waiters click and order, inventory ect...
Thanks

For a second, I thought you opened an open source restaurant. :)
You might drop your question at the CMS forum you might get support there.

'Foodies' from all over the world can edit and update the menu, order food from the best sources and keep track of order management so all the chef needs to do is look at a screen in front of him to see what's due next.

Will the Health Department be checking for bugs?

Surely you mean "open sauce software"?
(Apologies for the unconstructive comment, but this is Foo ;-)

Search for "restaurant" at Freshmeat and Sourceforge, and you will find several apps that might suit you. Try them and see!
I was quite surprised, as industry verticals have traditionally been an area where OSS is weak.
