i'm about (next week) to go on a one month road trip in the south west (usa) with my brother ...

arizona, new mexico, colorado and utah

and just wondering what kind of wireless access we might expect for the laptop?

we'll be staying in low level type motels most of the time i imagine,

i'd like to be able to log in most days if i can ... should i reasonably expect to be able to do so? or is this going to be a problem do you think? where might we have to visit in order to be able to get wireless?

ps. any suggestions for oddball or cool or favorite places to visit in any of the states we are driving through would also be most welcome ... thanks!

Do a search for hotspots and find a good directory. You'll find them scattered all along your route (most likely). I've laid out several trips this way.

Can you reasonably expect to find access along the way? Yes. Absolutely. You may need to go a bit out of your way at times (or not) but you can stay connected.
