...With about $100,000 and a dream of uniting professional fashion models everywhere, (25-year-old Jesper) Lannung and his financial backer, a music-industry veteran who calls himself SuperFrank, launched a social-networking site last year called ModelsHotel.com. There, the thin and beautiful can post pictures, videos and information about themselves, find romantic matches and get deals on everything from cosmetic dentistry to clothes. Unlike other modeling-focused sites, ModelsHotel is for professional models only. No poseurs. No voyeurs. No exceptions.

Nice to know that someone is looking out for people like us.
I'm filled with envy over this enterprise.

Ask yourself: Why didn't you think of this?

I wonder, how did he spend his $100,000? That seems a tad steep for the technology and design work, but there was marketing to be done. Hmmmm, interesting. I might need to look into this more...

Interesting concept, a site for models who only want to meet and date other models. Eg. Self centered, insecure, shallow, narrow minded beautiful people. Good thing they keep them locked away from the masses.

Maybe they can play some background music on the home page.

Seriously, I've worked with professional models and they are seldom vain or stupid. Many a have a great sense of humor.

Also, BTW, I've found many rich people are often kind and thoughtful, even those who inherited their wealth.

Im not implying that all models are vain or stupid, just the very small minority that would sign up for this service.
