(Reuters) - Forget the square jaw, rugged complexion and tough-guy macho attitude -- what women really want is a man with full lips and feminine features, according to a British study published on Wednesday.

The findings add to previous research about masculinity and offer further insight into what people look for in others when choosing potential partners, said evolutionary psychologist Lynda Boothroyd, who led the study.

What people say in surveys about what they're looking for and what they're actually looking for are two different things. Wealth, social status, height, for example, don't get mentioned, yet they increase a man's attractiveness to many women. (I said "many", not "all")
as for guys, well, what guy is going to say "my ideal woman is around 19 with nice perky.. you know..."
Nope, it's all about having a great sense of humor and being nice to your mother and driving an eco-friendly car.

I noticed that amongst the guys who really know how to deal with women there is one universal agreement on what women want from a guy: they don't have a clue what they really want until they get it. So I am very reluctant to take any notion of what a girl is saying after: 'I want a guy...'. Mostly it's just society imposed crap speaking out of them.

When a guy has real solid set of balls and an attitude of a rock star nothing can stop him from getting almost any babe. I've seen this over and over again and it never stops to amaze me how women will react very adversely to some guys, almost to the level of cursing them out, and then 5 minutes later they smile and give their phone numbers. If you can't grasp what I'm talking about go find a google video of a guy named Alan Roger Currie. He's a black dude from USA that has a pretty good grasp on female minds. I'd recommend every IT geek to invest the time to study what this guy is saying.
