Sometimes the junk mail gets "non-junk" filtered into it so I need to go through it, maybe 100's in a day. I just realized how quickly I can scan through my emails and spot a spam email, with out really comprehending the words in the subject.

No matter how clever they get it still seems easy to spot a spam.

I bet you are all speed readers too!

Many of us, I guess. It is easy to spot a spam immediately, though I don't know how I do it. There is something unique about spams :) We should thank those people for not making them too close to real emails.

I still wonder how many genuine emails I have deleted by accident when speed deleting the spam.

I found the easiest way to scan through alot of junk mail looking for good ones is to sort it by subject. Quite often spammers will send multiple emails with the same subject to several of my email addresses.

I actually scan my span looking for legitimate emails, I find it faster. Wow...just found two legit emails out of 290 spams! It's like finding a needle in a haystack.

sometimes I wonder why some of the legit mails go to the spam box, anyway? I have probably lost like a hundred good ones so far. This really annoys me!
