Alien invasion-type movie coming out in 2008

Teaser trailer in cinema looked awesome, any idea what it is?

I was at the cinema to see Transformers on Friday, and one of the trailers intruiged me. It didn't say what the movie was called, but it looked pretty cool from the way it was presented. I'd be keen to find out what it is.

It started with a home-video recording of a party for some guy who is leaving the country. Not sure what his name was, lets say Matt. Anyway, all the peeps are bigging up their main man Matt and how he'll be missed.. then there's something like an earthquake, the lights flicker, and the news starts reporting som strange disturbance.

They go upstairs to the roof, and there's a distant explosion with a hideous groaning sound, as things start crashing to ground all around the people.

The trailer ends with what looks like the head of the statue of liberty careening down the street and rolling past the hand-held camera.

Any ideas what this could be?
