What are "linkety links"

Can someone define or describe this expression, pls?

I found this "linkety links" thing and wonder what it "means" or how a native English speaker perceives it, whether it's a humorous expression, playful, geek whatnot?

I'm not sure if I could use it on my link collection about serious widgets.

Could an English speaker weigh in and shred some light on it?

Thanks!

>>humorous expression, playful

You've got it right. Probably popular because of the repetitive 'L' and 'K' sounds. Sort of like 'tickety-tock'

Oops, I have to leave it out then and find some other fanciness to decorate the boring serious widgets site.

Thank you, digitalghost! Thumbs up for the foo brigade :)
