Does anyone know if there is anyway to back up the current words in a mobile's dictionary, so that I can simply transfer it to a new phone without having to manually add all the words the dictionary does not contain?

Thanks.

I think that would be dependant upon the phone itself - both the old and the new phone. What make and models are they?

At the moment I am using the W800i from Sony Ericsson. I am unsure which phone I am going to get although the W960i looks appealing.

Basically I asked the question because each time I get a new phone I end up adding the same words to the dictionary. Most of them are place names or steet names etc.

It would just save a lot of effort if I could add the words one time into a new phone. Does any system offer this service?
