Anybody else feel/hear the boom?

Felt it in San Diego. Didn't hear anything, other than from my windows, which shook pretty good.

Not sure if there were two booms, or if it was just the windows bouncing a couple of times.

Welcome back!

I was out for my usual bike ride at lunch. I was going fast today, but I didn't know I was going THAT fast!

Oh, it was the Shuttle landing. :P

I recenetly read some stats on the shuttle, it's mind boggling. A fantastic piece of tech, but built in the 60's, something is bound to go wrong. It's wearing out, can only last so long. Same happened to Concorde though!

The fact that you can send people out in space and bring them back is amazing.
Or the fact that they can accomplish a 7-year hole-in-one with probes and orbiters, mars landers, etc ...
