* Al Gore will re-invent the Internet It will be bigger, quicker and have more capacity than ever before. It will also be able to reverse Global Warming, save the Polar Bears and stabilize the ice caps

It will be renamed the GoreNet II or the Alnet.

Google will become nothing more than a noise babies make.
Adsense will morph into non-sense and Adwords into bad words.

Just kidding, Massa G, just kidding!

Todays websites will look primitive to us then. All websites of the future will be slick professional five minutes TV infomercials. They will make what we see on UTube look like amateur hour

A lot of us webmaster and publishers wont make the cut.
We will end up as ribbon clerks at the local Wal-Mart.

Computers will become more powerful and sophisticated with more speed capacity and features than ever before. Severs will be built in to the units. The whole shebang will be built in China, retail for $ 299.00 and include a 24" HD flat screen monitor.

All the major search engines will be merged The new name will be " Goyahms ". If you are lucky enough to be allowed on, the top money for a click will be $ .20 cents.

All webmaster will have their profiles on record with the FBI and the CIA. I don't know why, I just threw this in for all of us who are paranoid.

Forums will become like the Spanish Inquisition. If you post something heretical, someone in scarlet will come by your house to see you.

Well my crystal ball just fogged up. But with all the futuristic Sci Fi, Star War and Star Trek fans I am sure there will be a lot more fantastic predictions coming!

So all you potential Nostradamus jump in!

It can be humorous or serious or both.

Its a Bold New World!

The barrier for entry will finally be raised to the point that Mom & Pop will need to hire a developer in order not to be laughed out of the Netblock.

Universities will finally realise that 99% of the Internet Programming courses they've been teaching were irrelevant and designed by people with no knowledge of commerical realities.

Web 2.0 will be replaced by Web 2.1 running on a backbone of HTML 5.0.
