Well yeah im ok i guess. Quit job last month, having a break. Enjoying life a little more, going for long walks with the dog and seeing friends more. So yeah on the whole its going ok, even going to see Spiderman 3 shortly.

Oh, I'm OK. Work has slowed down. I've been updating my blogs:
<snip> - got some new shots of the kids playing soccer and lacrosse. My wife is taking her final exam today, maybe she'll be more like a wife and less like a student tonight?!

I am doing better. I am coming out of Maternity Leave and winter cabin fever.

It feels good to be hearing full words than just sounds, like Goo ga, and bbrrrooommm..

Finishing a major project this week. I'm expecting the bonus for meeting all deadlines and quality standards. Clients are pleased; launch on Saturday night.

I'm taking a month off after that.

Managed to trim trees away from powerlines without getting electrocuted. Got a good case of sunburn . . . on my NECK! :-) (see Redneck thread.)

Daughter is in U.S. armed forces, found out last week she's getting re-deployed. And that's not even the bad news.

They put a chip in her wrist. They know her whereabouts, heat rate, blood pressure, and many other vitals wherever she is in the world. I am officially creeped out, the Orwellian nightmare is upon us.

Life is different. Going from running a medium-sized business to a bunch of smaller ones is a trip, but there are things I didn't miss - like the little things that keep you up at night. I do like it much better though. And I don't miss the politics one bit.

I've been taking more "real" vacations and less conference duty, which is nice too. Bermuda in two weeks, and New Zealand at the end of the year. Catching up with old friends this year has been great, too.

Mom and Dad are doing well, and the oldest sister is getting married in July. She's the normal one of the family. ;-)

Life is good, 22:20 at night and about 28 degrees, got to love Lanzarote :)
