IT agency ditches 'Expect the best' motto

My friend in Virginia kept telling me these horror stories...

, but, you know, everyone complains about their job. Then she sent me this article about where she works. She said it was on the front page of the newspaper this morning.

"It will get tougher before it gets easier," said Lemuel C. Stewart Jr., the state's chief information officer, in VITA's customer newsletter this month. "Expect delays."

What do you think? 'Expect delays' is a pretty good motto for government. Short, sweet, and (most of all) on-target.
